Dr. Casey Mangnall

Dr. Mangnall is a licensed psychologist based in Salt Lake City who brings a thoughtful, grounded, and personalized approach to psychological assessment. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, where she focused on the assessment and care of adolescents and adults, with specialized training in psychological evaluations, military, and forensic psychology.

She completed both her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Utah State Hospital, where she developed a strong foundation in forensic evaluation — including assessments related to mental competency, violence risk, parental fitness, and personal injury. Today, she enjoys maintaining a dynamic mix of clinical and forensic work, which allows her to stay sharp, flexible, and deeply attuned to the needs of each client.

What sets Dr. Mangnall apart is her ability to combine the precision of clinical assessment with the collaborative, human-centered approach of therapeutic assessment. Every evaluation she conducts is tailored to the individual, designed not only to answer referral questions but to provide meaningful insights that clients and professionals can actually use.

Whether working with adolescents, adults, attorneys, or systems of care, she’s known for being both thorough and approachable — someone who listens closely, thinks critically, and genuinely cares about getting it right.

Outside of work, Dr. Mangnall is most at home in the great outdoors. She and her husband spend as much time as possible hiking, canyoneering, mountain biking, and skiing — and yes, she once hiked all the way from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. She also enjoys relaxing at home with her pets and soaking in the quieter moments between adventures.
