Dr. Tristyn Wilkerson
Dr. Wilkerson is a seasoned clinical psychologist with a deep commitment to helping individuals understand and heal through thoughtful, evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment. She earned her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Washington School of Professional Psychology in 2012. Her early training included a doctoral internship at The Children’s Center in Salt Lake City under the supervision of Dr. Douglas Goldsmith, followed by a two-year neuropsychological residency at the Neurology, Learning, and Behavior Center with Dr. Sam Goldstein, where she remained as a full-time private practice psychologist from 2015 onward.
In 2025, Dr. Wilkerson joined the Utah Center for Psychological Services as a Supervisory Psychologist, where she continues her work supporting individuals across the lifespan with complex assessment needs.
Over the years, Dr. Wilkerson has worked in a wide range of settings including residential treatment, inpatient substance abuse programs, community mental health, and private practice. She specializes in the evaluation of:
Autism spectrum conditions
Executive functioning and attention-related concerns (including ADHD)
Cognitive, memory, and learning challenges
Brain injury and neurological functioning
Trauma and complex psychological histories
Dr. Wilkerson’s area of particular expertise is in trauma assessment. She has been retained as an expert witness in numerous civil trauma restitution cases internationally, and she is recognized for her ability to integrate clinical precision with empathy and care.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Wilkerson enjoys gardening, exploring national parks, reading great books, attending concerts, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their beloved foster cats.
