Dr. Amanda Denhof

Dr. Amanda Denhof earned her doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Missouri, where she received extensive training in the assessment and treatment of trauma in both clinical and educational settings. Throughout her graduate studies, she provided behavioral and mental health services to children, adolescents, and families, focusing on trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions that promote resilience and healing.

She completed her predoctoral internship at Utah State Hospital in Provo, Utah, where she worked with adolescents and adults to provide comprehensive psychological evaluations and a variety of individual and group therapies. Her training at the hospital further deepened her expertise in understanding the impact of trauma, serious mental illness, and complex diagnostic presentations.

Dr. Denhof is currently completing her postdoctoral fellowship with the Utah Center for Psychological Services, where she continues to specialize in trauma-focused therapy and psychological assessment. She brings a trauma-informed lens to all aspects of her work, integrating sensitivity, scientific rigor, and clinical insight.

In her evaluations, Dr. Denhof is known for her thoughtful, integrative approach—combining a deep understanding of trauma with a commitment to accuracy, empathy, and practical recommendations. She strives to ensure that every assessment provides clarity and helps guide effective treatment and support.
