Learning Disorder Evaluations
We offer comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing persistent difficulties with reading, writing, math, or other academic tasks, and may be wondering if a learning disorder is contributing to their struggles.
Our evaluations are designed to:
Determine whether challenges are consistent with a specific learning disorder (e.g., dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia)
Distinguish learning disorders from other issues that can impact academic performance, such as ADHD, anxiety, or lack of instructional support
Provide documentation and recommendations for academic accommodations, IEPs, 504 Plans, or workplace supports
Offer a roadmap for remediation, tutoring, and tailored learning strategies based on cognitive strengths and areas of need
What Our Learning Disorder Evaluations Include:
A thorough 90-minute clinical interview and developmental history focused on academic milestones, school performance, and learning challenges
Standardized testing in key academic areas such as reading fluency, comprehension, written expression, math problem-solving, and spelling
Cognitive testing to assess areas like working memory, processing speed, verbal reasoning, and executive functioning
Screening for co-occurring emotional or attentional concerns that may affect learning (e.g., test anxiety, inattention)
A detailed written report and personalized 60-minute feedback session with actionable recommendations for school, tutoring, and ongoing support
Whether you're a parent seeking answers for your child, a student navigating college demands, or an adult returning to school or work, our goal is to provide clarity, validation, and practical guidance to help you move forward with confidence and support.
Cost: These evaluations are not covered by insurance. Our self-pay rate for these evaluations is $3,100.
