Dr. Ahmed earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her clinical training spans a range of settings, including community mental health centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, private practice, and college counseling centers. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Shared Vision Psychological Services in Chicago, where she conducted comprehensive neurodevelopmental and psychological evaluations for individuals across the lifespan.

Dr. Ahmed views assessment as a collaborative and holistic process that helps individuals and families gain meaningful insight into unique strengths and areas of support. She integrates contextual and identity-related factors into each evaluation to ensure culturally sensitive and individualized care. As a relational clinician, she believes healing happens through connection and meeting each person with curiosity and compassion. 

Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys playing pickleball, discovering new coffee shops, thrifting, and spending quiet time at home with her cats.
