Trauma Evaluations
At UCPS, we specialize in comprehensive trauma evaluations that help individuals, families, and professionals understand the psychological effects of past trauma — and identify the most effective path forward for healing and support.
Our trauma evaluations are tailored to each client’s history and concerns. We work with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced interpersonal violence, abuse, neglect, accidents, or other overwhelming life events. These assessments are often helpful in clinical, educational, or personal recovery contexts. Please note: if you are seeking a trauma evaluation for a legal case, please inquire about our personal injury evaluations (link this to our PI eval page).
What Our Trauma Evaluations Include:
Comprehensive clinical interview to gather personal history, trauma exposure, symptom patterns, and functional impacts
Standardized psychological testing to assess PTSD, dissociation, mood and anxiety disorders, and related emotional or behavioral concerns
Collateral interviews and records review (when appropriate) to provide additional context and support diagnostic accuracy
Trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach that centers safety, collaboration, and respect throughout the process
Clear diagnostic feedback and written report that can be used to support therapy planning or educational/occupational accommodations
Recommendations for next steps, including evidence-based treatments (such as EMDR, TF-CBT, or CPT) and referrals if needed
Our trauma evaluations are grounded in compassion and clinical rigor. Whether you're a survivor seeking answers, a caregiver looking to support a loved one, or a professional needing documentation for legal or therapeutic decisions — we're here to help bring clarity, validation, and a path forward.
